Christmas at The Merchant's Yard is a wonderful time of the year! Our log-burning fire and mulled wine are ideal for warming you on winter nights. Our festive menus and decorations are guaranteed to have you feeling merry and bright! We are also taking bookings for parties and events.

Festive À La Carte
Our à la carte menu boasts an exceptional selection of handcrafted dishes, created using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. With a range of beautifully presented dishes for each course, we can also adapt much of the menu to accommodate a vegan or gluten-free diet. Many of these options are also available on our Sunday menu, alongside our classic roasts.
Festive Special Menu
Enjoy three courses from our special menu for a set price! Choose from four delectable dishes, for each course, for the perfect festive meal.
This menu is available for Christmas parties and work events, for groups of 10 or more people.
Our special menu is available for smaller parties who dine in our restaurant from Wednesday to Friday.

Festive Afternoon Tea
Experience our classic Afternoon Tea with a selection of festive sandwiches, homemade mince pies, scones, and an array of classic festive sweet treats.
Served with freshly brewed tea and coffee.
Priced at £18.95 per person.
Served Wednesday - Saturday between 12pm and 4pm - pre-booking and a £10 per person deposit is required. Occasionally, we are able to serve outside of these times when pre-booked, please call us to enquire about this.
Parties & Work Events
Whether you wish to celebrate the festivities with a work event, party or would like to dine with all the family, then The Merchant's Yard is the perfect location for you. Our private dining space can seat parties of up to 26, other areas of our restaurant are available for larger bookings if required. Our restaurant will be decorated for Christmas, however, you can add your own personal touch to the space.

Join us for New Year’s Eve!
Indulge in our signature à la carte dishes, enjoy evening dancing hosted by our resident DJ and celebrate with a midnight toast as we enter 2024!
